A Mix for Flow & Introspection
This mix channels the beauty of nature—blending piano, deep house, and euphoric sounds.
🎙️ Radio Show Episode 3
I grew up camping - kudos to my mom. I love to turn my phone on airplane mode, drink campfire coffee (coffee in nature hits differently), go on hikes, listen to music while prepping and cooking dinner and of course, can’t forget about s’mores. It’s an opportunity to be surrounded by nature, and it's in those little but grand moments - waking up with the sun before everyone else, walking around the campsite at dusk, looking at the sky when the first stars appear - that you are reminded of something bigger than you.
Last May I went camping with my family in June Lake. I had been on the fence about if I should continue working in my field of work. I remember waking up early one morning and looking around. I intuitively knew there was something else I was supposed to be doing.
While I am still on that journey, I let nature be my guide which is something my father writes about in his new book The Way of the Wave: Nature’s Model for Navigating Life’s Currents. It is transformative guide that helps you navigate life’s unpredictable currents by learning how to better go with the flow.
It is also the inspiration for this month’s radio show! I’ve curated a mix of songs that are melodic and meditative, like how being in nature makes me feel.
I have 1 audiobook copy to giveaway to the first person that responds to me!
