This past Sunday, I had the joy of playing my first-ever DJ event—and what a fun one to start with. Cosmic Jelly hosted their very first SANDBOX pop-up at the Venice Learning Garden, and I got to open the afternoon with a 30-minute set filled with earthy rhythms, balearic textures, and laid-back house.
It was also my first time DJing in a garden (hopefully not the last). The sun was shining, non-alc bevies were in hand and people gathered in a garden for a mellow, music-filled hang.
